"Acadiana looses a landmark as Nunu's was destroyed by fire early Sunday morning. The building had been home to the Arneaudville town market and a Western Auto and now the Deux Bayous art gallery, artist George Marks personal studio and family business, Nu...nu's. Rebuilding the decades old building and bringing entertainment, art and food to everyone in Acadiana, Nunu's had become a cherished destination. The vision of George Marks put Arneaudville, LA on the map as an artist community and destination for world wide travelers. A tragic loss!
